For this month’s Employee Spotlight, we are featuring Alaina Box, our Vice President of National Advertising Partnerships. Alaina is fueled by making connections with our advertising partners that can be fostered into long-term relationships. The bedrock of her approach is providing continual support and strategies that advance their business. Her power to deliver is reflected in countless renewals with our advertisers, a lot of whom we now deem as life-long partnerships. With a genuine interest in helping brands spend more wisely and optimize their marketing dollars, Alaina exercises her creativity on how Figg can continue to exceed expectations and cardholder experiences.
Alaina’s knack for keeping up with the market goes hand-in-hand with her sales role at Figg. We’re not kidding when we say she’s “on top of it” as she likes to start her day reading through a variety of marketing and technology subscriptions. Being aware of current transactional trends, market headlines and tech savvy news keeps her on her toes in our ever-changing industry. Staying up on trends and collaborating with other departments within Figg helps her develop custom solutions for her advertising partners. From working with Marketing to craft value-add campaign opportunities with Figg publishers to collaborating with Analytics to track active campaign performance with real-time reporting, she goes the extra mile to deliver for her clients.
If presented with a surprise day off, you would find Alaina at her beach house in Bayville, New Jersey. Snuggled in a beautiful canal, her beach house makes for the perfect little get away. Alaina enjoys spending her off days boating with friends and soaking up the sunshine along the coast. However, her love for an enticing scenery doesn’t stop at boat rides. Alaina is a licensed mortgage broker and she keeps a sharp eye on the housing market. The hustle and bustle of the real estate industry excites her, and she uses her sales skills to help friends and family find their dream homes. If Alaina were to retire tomorrow, she would pack her things and practice real estate in Europe!
Alaina has achieved many milestones at Figg- she expresses that some of her greatest accomplishments and proudest moments as when our top-tier brands signed their renewals. Alaina describes herself as her own biggest competitor, which keeps her motivated to raise the bar and hit new quotas. She does emphasize that “I couldn’t do what I do if it wasn’t for everyone involved, from setting budgets to launching campaigns.” Despite being self-motivated, Alaina is a team-player at heart.
At the end of the day, the quality of life and genuine belief in selling a product that truly benefits the people is what keeps Alaina happy and thriving at Figg. Thanks for all that you do Alaina!
